Channel: Consciousness and Healing

Marilyn Schlitz 140x140

Hosted by Marilyn Schlitz.

With medical and health insurance costs skyrocketing and millions of people having no insurance at all, there is growing professional frustration and despair among physicians. More and more patients are seeking alternative treatments, in which physicians are not well-enough informed to take part. The Consciousness & Healing channel features content that calls health professionals and patients alike to carry the responsibility to help craft a new, more fitting way of practicing medicine in light of the major crisis in the practice and delivery of healthcare in the United States. On this channel we take the time to consider the integral perspective, the view that the scientific quest is incomplete without data from many domains of inquiry, and that human transcendence can occur in the face of illness and disease.
