About My Offerings
After a long and frightening illness, I learned to make beadwork and other creative activities to occupate my time between two morphine treatments.
One year after, Thankfully healed but totally hooked I decided to create an organisation in which I sell my creations in order to fund the Red cross and others charity organisations. The difficult administrative difficulties in France led me to change this to a regular business activity based on three main values :
- every object is unique (I never make more than one of everything)and hand made
- the client is entirely involved int he creation of the product and can ask any change he/she wants (color, form, etc...)
- the company uses tithing so 10% of everything sold is directly given to a caritative organisation.
One of my projects is to translate my site in english but i still have no feedback if it would interest someone
My Background
Self taught beadworker and artist. I used to create objects to fund different actions for my school and church. I loved it but thought at this time that it wasn't "a serious thing to make business with" until I was told in 1999 that I had a very dangerous health problem. I started then to see life differently. Not knowing if I would heal or not I decided to really make what I enjoy most.
Today I have created my web site www.confections-maffei.fr which was an old dream of mine. I found an editor for my first book on hand made cosmetics and I'm planning to write a sci-fi novel.
I also decided to be more involved in spirituality which led me to this organisation.
