My Intentions and Goals
The ToWo Project, "Talking out Walking on", an inspiring media and trauma healing design for the Rural Women in KwazuluNatal, South Africa. We just manifested the first camp this autumn,2007.. Raising equipment and funds. Looking forward to the unfolding of this co-creation between Israeli video and somatic therapy professionals and the African Zulu women that want to speak out their life stories, for human rights lobbying and resourcing their strength. Building a cross cultural alliance through deep listening, creativity, and a sense of mastery. The goal is to walk with them through the story telling, body telling, trauma healing, film making, editing short docu films, and then finding a stage for these, nationally and internationally. I'd like to join these women in their move beyond shame violence and terror, to initiation and curiosity; asserting themselves and creating concepts of future in their new society.
Our next project is planned to take place together with the WozaMoya, a community in the Ufafa valley working with HIV/AIDS and their effects, in collaboration with the Buddhist Retreat Center in Ixopo, KZN, SA. The end of 2008.
