"What Noetics Means to me", by, uhhhhhhh .... let's try a re-start, k?

I just got through replying to Alan's reply to Glenn over in "What to do?". Since Alan and Glenn are "oldtimers" from the original IONS online forum, and so am I, I got to feeling what some would call nostalgic. Now: I like to take nostalgia and strip it of it's bitterness and longing and what I have left at that point is something that resembles a holo-view of a field effect encompassing in an exemplary manner the bonds of connected friendship, as such. Dudes! S'up!

"They say that these are not the best of times
But they're the only times I've ever known
And I believe there is a time for meditation
In cathedrals of our own"

~ Billy Joel; from "Summer, Highland Falls"

It's been some five weeks or so since I posted here. Personal reasons, arising from work to heal anxiety and some stubborn old blues tunes that echo in the dark reaches of the cauldron of my mind, explain my absence as well as any other model could. I've done some reading in the meantime, as an intuitive adjunct to the course of healing I have been navigating.

The old dog messed on the floor last night, while we slept. We forgot to leave the dog door open; a courtesy, since the 16 year old dog has let loose a time or two lately. And I forgot to roll the trash bin back in from the road last night as well. There are no lights out here and the sun is not even near rising yet.

Monday morning, 7 Am, I headed acoss town to the south, where the hospital sits at the base of Talpa Ridge. Talpa Ridge is the first rise that marks the boundary oof the vast mountain wilderness that runs south and east from there. My visit to the hospital was to make use of the lab facilities, to have blood drawn for an annual physical exam. On my way back home I passed through the deep dip in our road leading to the house. On the rise leading out of that arroyo I noticed an animal passing across, from right to left, the crest of the hill. It was a large male coyote, replete with a full, lush winter coat.

Bridging the chasm of an assumption I took the liberty of coming home from work for lunch yesterday. Since they began the major infrastructure work just north of my place of employment I have not come home for lunch, assuming that I would not have time to make the trip within the alloted one hour lunch period, due to the truncated traffic flow. I was mistaken.
