About My Offerings
My offerings as an educator in international higher education include curriculum development, distance education program administration, interdisciplinary training, integral education (underpinning model), teaching/mentoring and advising, and specifically, program and curriculum development and instruction in complementary, integral, and behavioral health studies.
My current work as the Program Director of the new Integral Health Studies undergraduate distance education program at Akamai University (soon to be launched) allows me the honor and joy of working with a wonderful community of integrally minded beings who share a vision of optimal health, noetic capacity, innovative education and human development, and compassionate service. The new program is underpinned by Ken Wilber's AQAL Integral Model and, in its design, aspires to offer learning across the AQAL quadrants relevant to health/healthcare and optimal integral wellness...including an "Inner Practicum and Transformational Practice" requirement.
Currently, the focus of my clinical offerings (private clinic in Kyoto, Japan) center on the integration of Homeopathic Medicine, Counselling, Behavioral Medicine, Energy Psychotherapy (e.g. TFT, EFT, EMDR). Work is underway toward creating a training and an adjunctive professional certification route for professionally registered homeopaths as "Homeopathic Counsellors".
My other clinical interests are specifically in CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine, inclusive of Energy Psychology/Energy Medicine)and Positive Psychology in mental health, health promotion (in the broadest AQAL Integral sense)... and in primary, secondary, and tertiary healthcare/preventive health.
