I am feeling the need to refresh myself, and found this in my notes:

RX for Inner Peace (Anonymous)
Inner peace is an incurable, highly contagious condition which if left unchecked, could pose a serious threat to the conflict in the world.

I have just been introduced to Greg Braden. I was introduced to his work through a friend in Arizona who shares our enthusiasm about the shift but is not a member of our forum. I wish she were because she would add much to our discussions. Anyway I was happy to find that he (Greg Braden) is listed among the IONS luminaries. The teleseminar in our archives is a must here if you are not familiar. I think he is unusually clear in his depiction of what is happening now and its implications. He artfully speaks of bringing together science and spirituality. He resonates with me and I'd like to hear your take on his message.

"Yes, my guard stood hard when abstract threats
Too noble to neglect
Deceived me into thinking
I had something to protect
Good and bad, I define these terms
Quite clear, no doubt, somehow

I wrote this as a reply to the post "I Need Your Support" and is often the case, after writing it, I thought to post it.

I have always worked hard. I always (had) complained about it, too. I have made very good money and it seems that I feel I have to support everyone and I don't get a break. I have worked, I have complained.

It is so very easy to explain away the wondrous. Or to miss it altogether in the face of existing knowledge.

My morning errands were not routine: the annual eye exam, and getting a fresh set of tires put on the car in prep for vacation travel. When I returned home I found an unusual guest in the house - a hummingbird!

So, if you have alerted your buddies (and thanks to those who have!!!!) about getting advance copies, please let them know they should be able to by this weekend.

I am not usually at a loss for words and I am not at a loss at the moment. I begin to write and then delete and write and delete. I could not find the words to say this without feeling the best thing for me to do is to copy it here. Here is an excerpt from the book "Leap Before You Look" By Arjuna Ardagh

In the Beginning

I thought I would just go ahead and give all of you a real thought twister. Assuming that there is an omniscient, omnificent, omnipotent, omnipresent source and power that people of the world refer to by many names, one of them being God, could this Universe have been created in the following manner? Could such things as Black Holes and force fields and energy fields, and innate creative motion, be explained by studying the "Big Bang" as I have outlined a possible reality in the following postulation? I would like the science buffs to consider the possibilities and have some fun with the concept. No fair stopping when I refer to the Energy as God. For me it makes things easier.

I have been a part of Shift in Action since the summer of 2007, and I had the opportunity to attend the conference in Palm Springs. I have enjoyed my contacts at whatever level. In 2008, as we all agree to focus on The Shift, I have often struggled with the role of interaction with the political system. I believe that I share with many a sense that our system is broken. It is easy to find a significant part of the fault with figures like the president and vice-president, who have in so many blatant ways subverted the rule of law. An obvious way to begin to deal with this situation is to put into play the constitutional provisions for impeachment. Despite the obviousness of the situation, this course of action is making almost no progress. Searching through Shift in Action, it is also absent here, as if it is of no significance in the transformation that we are all struggling to find our way through.

“Evolution can be conceived as a goal directed process insofar as it is part of a goal directed universe, an unfolding of potentialities somehow inherent in this Cosmos.” Robert Wesson – “Beyond Natural Selection”

We have all seen the beautiful and ornate patterns (reminiscent of psychodelia) generated by mathematicians and computers engaged in the exploration of Chaos Theory.
