In this 3-part audio presentation, Dr. Goswami provides a lucid explanation of three fundamental principals of quantum physics, laying the groundwork for a mind-expanding look at how they relate to consciousness, creativity, and healing.

With clear definitions he contrasts the quantum principals with traditional scientific beliefs, and then provides examples from research and human experience to demonstrate their veracity. The concept of “quantum leap” is explained and applied to both the creative thought process and the attainment of enlightenment. Throughout his discussion he builds cogent arguments as to how quantum physics can render elusive metaphysical concepts readily comprehensible.

The building blocks to this comprehension are straightforward: Everything is comprised of waves of possibility at the subatomic level. Consciousness, which is non-local (existing and influencing from everywhere), collapses these waves into material manifestation. The scientific notion of upward causation (something at the atomic level causing a phenomenon) only gives us possibility and probability; it is downward causation (from omnipresent consciousness) that collapses the possibility into an event and ultimately creates our reality.

In Part 1 Dr. Goswami explains why consciousness must operate beyond the brain, leading into a discussion of collective consciousness, memory, and ego-formation. In Part 2 he applies these insights to transpersonal psychology, drawing an exciting conclusion about the pursuit of higher consciousness as it relates to happiness. In Part 3 Dr. Goswami responds to challenging questions from the audience on the inefficiency of the universe (in terms of humankind’s seemly slow consciousness evolution), whether the concept of creating our own reality can be applied literally to the material world, and what happens to consciousness after death.
