Bruce Lipton

Each hour of Dr. Lipton's workshop builds upon the last. The first hour lays out the scientific background for his work in a clear, intelligent, and humorous way. He takes the audience on an eye-opening tour of the philosophical foundations of modern science, heading backwards to Socrates and Democritus and zooming forwards to Darwin, Watson & Crick, and the emergence of biology's central dogma. In the process, he shows how the materialist view upon which so much of science is built is inadequate to explain the research data in cellular biology today.

In the following hours, Dr. Lipton explores the field of epigenetics in more detail, examining the biologically paralyzing effects of fear, the power of subconscious thoughts, the effects of early conditioning, and the nature of the "cures" we often experience at the doctor's office. He demonstrates in detail why a purely deterministic view of biology is heading quickly for the dustbin of history.

Everything I have intuited, all the oranges that hung from the tree which I could touch but not quite grasp Bruce Lipton, in this profound and remarkable series picked and handed to me. I am overwhelmingly grateful.

Thank you Bruce and thank you IONS.

This is the most profound material I've ever been exposed to presented by the quickest most articulate speaker anywhere. Breathtaking!!!

Why do we Live, Fight and Die for our Beliefs? As I see it, Truth is beyond belief and once a belief is exposed to truth, it fades away as darkness does in Light. If we allow our self to get stuck in a group that shares our Beliefs, how can we evolve beyond Separation? If we really are "One in Mind and Spirit" -- doesn't that place beliefs on the same level as opinions? If so, Why would an enlightened individual Live or Fight to share their opinions with others?

We are in the midst of an explosion of information in all fields - most of it pulling together info from previous experiments, ideas, etc., some going back decades and centuries. Ideas that were considered illogical, if not actually heresy, are in the mainstream now as we improve our measuring instrumentation, rethink earlier work, etc.

Over 10 years ago Rupert Sheldrake said that biology is the most hidebound discipline -it still is. So it's refreshing to have someone who puts out up-to-date interpretation of thoughts and viewpoints that need to be brought to our attention. How often have we heard "thoughts are things," "you create your own reality," etc.
"What the Bleep" put in people's faces that there are better ways of viewing, interacting with our world. And Bruce Lipton puts different words to many of the older ideas, brings them to us so they can be used! Thanks! Laurel

This was the most significant information that I have ever received from anyone or in any form.
Thank you.

I hesitated writing a negative comment about this presentation, but after listening to Teleseminar 1 with Marilyn Schlitz and Larry Dossey I felt compelled to share/declare/flame.

Listening to Dr. Dossey stress the need for “careful methodical research and “modest claims, I was struck by how much this restraint was lacking in Bruce Lipton’s presentation. Exaggerated hype is a real turn-off whether it comes from closed minded skeptics, or over zealous frontier-science researchers.

I had the priviledge of hearing Dr. Lipton speak for an IONS conference last year in Redondo Beach, CA. It's rare when you can sit and listen to a two hour science lecture without either falling asleep or wishing you hadn't made the long drive in the first place.

But rare is what Dr. Lipton is. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, astounded, laughing, entertained, and, at the end, far better educated. How often does this type of lecture receive a screaming standing ovation? Well, Dr. Lipton's did. And it was more than deserved.

In speaking with him afterwards, his bright and enthusiastic nature is infectious and heartwarming. I went right out and bought his book and was not disappointed it -- told all of my colleagues and patients to buy and read it. I was thrilled to receive my quarterly CD and to read his latest article in Shift. I have downloaded all of his lectures from Shift In Action and look forward to sharing it with friends.

Thank you, Dr. Lipton, for your terrific work!! And thank you IONS for making it available.

Thanks for putting this on the web site. Another way to view the life we are living. Exciting and illuminating presentation thanks again for bringing it to the world.
