Coumba Touré is an educator, change-maker, writer, artist, and speaker who focuses on popular education as a means to spread social justice. She has facilitated hundreds of educational workshops worldwide on gender, race, economic justice, AIDS, and advocacy. She is currently a representative for Ashoka, the world's largest network of social entrepreneurs, and is based in Dakar, in the Sahel region in West Africa.
