What do conscious living and conscious dying have in common? In both, we allow what is unimportant to fall away, and we feel more deeply into existence that we otherwise could. Wink Franklin, Garfield, and Rachel Naomi Remen offer insight and many interactive exercises involving life review and assessment of one's values and beliefs.

While the aims and material presented were interesting and perhaps very useful to those closer to their own or another's death, I found the volume differences between audiences and speakers to be a major obstacle. My listening device didn't permit of really fast changes in levels and I shouldn't wonder I lost some hearing in the effort to hear the entire presentation.

I'd suggest that the audience not be recorded speaking far from the mic or that editing and volume "levelling" be employed on material such as this. It was very frustrating.

Thanks CognitiveDissident for the heads up on this audio. We've updated it so that the disparate audio levels are evened out. It's now much easier on the ears...
