Imagine how impossible it must have seemed to Nelson Mandela, sentenced to life without parole, to dream that apartheid would ever end, much less that he would become president. And yet, that seeming miracle required a shift in consciousness that prepared him for what was to come. This story inspires the dialogue between two authors and spiritual pioneers, Maria Nemeth and Rev. Mary Mannin Morrissey. Their dialogue is quite personal and focused on practical shifts we can each make that add up to big change in the collective, just as Mandela’s story illustrates. Together, they explore the dark night of the soul and how it connects to a collective dark night, as well as the importance of finding one’s core life intentions and using them as the basis for all decisions. They also dialogue about how to navigate the "trouble at the border" between metaphysical and physical realities, which is where so many good ideas run aground. It’s a nourishing ride through energy, intention, and the practice of aligning our daily life, our thoughts, and even our money with our spiritual principles.
