Roger Nelson’s Global Consciousness Project at Princeton University has long been a thorn in the side of a purely materialist worldview. A global network of random event generators shows changes from randomness when collective attention is focused in the same direction, implying something like a global mind effect. In this interview with IONS’ Senior Scientist Dean Radin, they discuss the history of the development of this work, as well as notions such as Bohm’s implicate order, Jung’s collective unconscious, and a “Gaia mind.” They then connect these notions to the concept of intention and anomalous experimental evidence.

This was a thoughtful, incisive interview!!! Dr. Radin is skillful in digging deeper into the ideas and experience of his guest, Roger Nelson. I now want to read more about the Global Consciousness Project. My excitement about the "shifts" taking place in our consciousness was heightened by this talk. The two speakers were really clicking which was informative and inspiring in itself....
