Luminary: Cynthia Brix
Cynthia Brix, M.Div, M.A., is an interfaith minister specializing in international peace building and young adult ministry. She is the Program Director of the Satyana Institute and is a contributing author of Divine Duality: The Power of Reconciliation Between Women and Men. Cynthia co-directs the Power of Reconciliation project. As the former Unitarian Universalist campus minister at the University of Colorado-Boulder, Cynthia provided spiritual direction and coordinated an interfaith, multi-ethnic race relations program. A student of Eknath Easwaran’s Passage Meditation, Cynthia completed her seminary training at Iliff School of Theology, and has led meditation workshops at Unitarian Universalist conferences. She co-leads retreats on interfaith spirituality for religious leaders, and supports women’s projects in India. Cynthia is on the adjunct faculty of the California Institute of Integral Studies and Holy Names University.
