Luminary: Duane Elgin

Duane Elgin is an author, speaker, and activist for media accountability. His books include: Voluntary Simplicity, Promise Ahead, and Awakening Earth. He has worked as a senior staff member with a Presidential Commission on the American Future, and as a senior social scientist at SRI International where he co-authored numerous studies on the long-range future. Duane co-founded the non-partisan organization for television accountability, "Our Media Voice". He has an MBA from the Wharton School and an MA from the University of Pennsylvania.
