Marc Lesser

Author entrepreneur Marc Lesser built his company, Brush Dance, from a tiny recycled-paper venture operated out of his garage to a multimillion-dollar publisher of greeting cards and calendars. Armed with an MBA, this founder and CEO grappled with the usual challenges of running a company: meeting payroll and balancing cash flow, hiring and firing employees, maintaining relationships with vendors and customers, and growing the business in a difficult economic climate. Informing every decision was Lesser’s commitment to Zen practice. As an ordained Zen priest, he has practiced and studed Zen for thirty years. In hi book Z.B.A. Zen of Business Administration; How Zen Practice Can Transform Your Work And Your Life, he follows the great Zen tradition of teaching stories and beautifully describes the delicate path of living a working life as a spiritual practice.

Founder and president of ZBA Associates, a company offering coaching, consulting and facilitation services, Marc's skill and passion facilitate individuals and organizations to fully engage with their strength, power, and innate wisdom.

Marc has been a member of Social Venture Network, a national organization that combines business, social responsibility and spirituality, for the past 10 years. He also serves on the San Francisco Zen Center Board of Directors and the Outside Financial Advisory Board.
