Julia Butterfly Hill emerged into national prominence as a passionate environmental activist who spent more than a year 180 feet above the ground in a Redwood tree to halt clear-cutting of the old-growth forest. She has inspired thousands of others to find their own calling through her speaking, her book Luna and her organization What's Your Tree, an organization of the Engage Network (www.engagenet.org).
