Catherine Austin Fitts

Workplace Revolution host, Matthew Gilbert and guest Catherine Austin Fitts engage in a thought provoking conversation which includes the analogy of big business as a tape worm. Catherine describes what we need to be aware of in our investments to insure that we are not unintentionally feeding the 'tape worm.'

Catherine Austin Fitts is founder of Solari Investor Circles, private investment partnerships that practice financial intimacy — investing in networks of people and products. If we want clean water, fresh food, sustainable infrastructure, sound banks, lawful companies and healthy communities, we are going to have to finance and govern these resources ourselves. We cannot invest in the stocks and bonds of large corporations and governments that are harming our food, water, environment and all living things and then expect these resources to be available when we need them. Nor can we deposit and do business with the banks that are bankrupting our government and economy.

Catherine offers practical advice for survival through a possibile economic collapse or slow burn scenarios. She stresses the need for increase self sufficiency and debt elimination.
