Diane Powell teleseminar on "The ESP Enigma"
Former Harvard professor and author Diane Hennacy Powell, M.D. talks with host Dean Radin about the challenges involved in doing psi research. Diane describes two experiences she had which led her to explore psychic research and develop her own intuitive abilities. Dean and Diane discuss her book “The ESP Enigma: The Scientific Case for Psychic Phenomena.” in which she reveals similar brain pattern activities occur during sleep and psychic episodes. This may have developed in mammals to protect vulnerable babies to enable them to communicate psychically when parents are away. Scientists interested in researching psychic phenomenon are faced with many challenges from a lack of funding to peer criticism. Many scientists believe there is more to life than what we can detect through our five senses. However it will take time for telepathy, psychokinesis, clairvoyance and precognition to be fully researched and accepted. Dr. Powell compares this time to the Copernican revolution, which took 150 years before his ideas were fully accepted.
