A ‘soul healing’ is not typically part of a nursing practice but when Elena Avila was in the middle of a successful nursing career she decided to return to the traditions of her heritage and study to become a curandera.  In this teleseminar she shares her unique perspective on ‘folk’ diseases, such as envy, road rage and soul retrieval, and how she learned to treat maladies originating beyond the physical. She tells us how important the co-creation process is and the methods to facilitate healing are unique to each individual.
