Jay Shafer teleseminar on "Radical Simplicity: Beyond Green Architecture"
Award winning, sustainable tiny house designer, Jay Shafer, inspires us to reconsider the amount of space we actually need to be happy. He lives in approx. 100 sq feet and explains how that is measured. His small house designs incorporate sacred geometry and are expressions of his artistic training. Jay tells us that building an average American house creates 7 tons of construction waste. Jay's tiny home construction waste barely fills the back of a small pick-up truck. For those who can't move into a tiny home, he doesn't recommend tearing out old materials to put in "green" materials such as bamboo flooring, because what you tear out will end up in a landfill. In this teleseminar he gives us helpful hints to live a more sustainable lifestyle and shares his vision for future sustainable neighborhoods.
