Join host Matthew Gilbert and guest Marc Lesser, an ordained Zen priest and entrepreneur with a multi-million dollar business, for an engaging dialogue on combining spiritual practice and business. Marc has utilized his Zen studies in every aspect of the development of his company, Brush Dance, which he built from a small recycled-paper venture in his garage into a thriving greeting card and calendar publishing business. Matthew and Marc explore how the Buddha's 8-fold path applies to business, the challenge of right speech, and the inspiration behind writing the book Z.B.A. Zen of Business Administration; How Zen Practice Can Transform Your Work And Your Life.

Provides a clear path to deepening my daily practice of work. Although the owner/operator of a small business, I too was not valuing my working experience as highly as my "spiritual experience." It has, of course, grown me and changed me in ways that I value which wouldn't have happened were I not in business and completely financially dependent on myself. Thanks for the clarity re ethics. I've found in my own work that "staying open and responsive" is the key. The clarity and insight were contagious. Thank you.
