I just listened to this recording. I was very pleased that the subject
of consuming animal flesh was brought up by the gentleman in Hawaii &
noted the answers. Mary Evelyn Tucker explains that the use of cattle at
the moment for fast food purposes is very damaging for the environment.
Later on she adds, in reply to another question, that we need agriculture to feed us in a healthy way. Thank you. I wholeheartedly agree, man has no physical need to eat any animals, and by her own admission Mary implies eating fast food burgers is dangerous for the environment. Well Done. Anyone wishing to increase their consciousness would certainly not harm their efforts by adopting this view. I feel somehow that the multi-million dollar fast food chains will not like this view. But as Mary implies, red meat can give you a heart attack.

God Bless.
