Join Dr. Roger Nelson with host Dean Radin in a fascinating exploration of the implications of the Global Consciousness Project, which tracks changes in randomness in a network of electronic devices that act something like a global EEG. Dr. Nelson talks about the origins of the project, as well as some of the surprising results, such as spikes in coherence that begin an hour or more before large earthquakes, with the strongest effects noted for earthquakes occuring in parts of the world with large populations and many REG devices. His research shows that global events that produce the most significant effects are ones that evoke compassion and sympathy, such as 9/11, which resulted in very strong effects in the days following. Does this work imply something like a planetary mind or are the effects a result of individual minds temporarily finding coherence?
