Starhawk

Author and global justice activist, Starhawk, one of the most respected voices in modern earth-based spirituality, talks with host Stephen Dinan about permaculture, spiritual activism, and our sacred connection to the environment. She recommends taking at least five minutes each day to simply observe nature and deepen our sense of reverence for life around us. It could be in the parking lot in the middle of a city, listening to the birds and noticing the healing herbs growing through the cracks in the pavement. She also explores the insights that have emerged into group and organizational dynamics from the long experiment of starting Reclaiming, a pagan organization that operates globally. She shares insights into leader empowerment and egalitarian circles, earned authority vs. unearned, and how this work can help us reformulate traditional hierarchical organizations.
