Join host Belvie Rooks and guest Steve Ryals as they discuss Steve's new book Drunk with Wonder. We explore Steve's journey from being homeless and shooting drugs in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district as a high school dropout to earning three college degrees. His book has been described as a cross between "Conversations with God" and "What the Bleep Do we Know?" A study in the evolution of consciousness, both personal and planetary, Drunk with Wonder offers hope to those ensnared in addiction.

I found Steve to be very interesting, sincere, easy to follow and pleasant to listen to (he has a wonderful voice). I found the interviewer's constant ah's & um hmm's distracting. I found her questions unclear & poorly posed - they seemed to go round in circles and then trail off.

This was my first teleseminar and I was astounded by it. I think this is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I didn't know much about Steve but I ordered four of his books right after for my Christmas gift list. It was magical to be tied into the web of listeners from all around the country. It is a tough job to be an interviewer so I would like to see more support for this position. I really enjoyed the discussion after and appreciated Steve being around for the whole thing and all the comments of the other listeners. God bless Us Every one.

Interesting, I was thinking the same thing and then I saw your comment. Yes, the oh's and ah's are very distracting and seem to actually subtract from the credibility of the speaker. I would have appreciated a bit more probing questions to get deeper at the real essense of the philosphy presented here. The inteviewer's style seemed to denote a sort of fawning agreement that really diminished the impact of the message.
