Will Keepin & Cynthia Brix teleseminar on "Divine Duality"
Authors and facilitators of gender healing work, Will Keepin and Cynthia Brix, share many international experiences of deep healing in this teleseminar call with host Angela Murphy.
From South Africa to India, men and women in prominent political and religious positions have participated in their “Power of Reconciliation” workshops, which draw upon ancient traditions and myriad spiritual practices. They tell moving stories of profound transformations that can occur when men and women come together. In one South African example, a woman shared about her young daughter who was raped and contracted AIDS. Many other women in the circle shed tears of understanding, which spread to the men listening in the outer circle. At the end of the workshop, the men created a ritual celebration to honor the women and symbolically destroy the hierarchical social structure by building a stack of chairs to the ceiling and pulling out the foundation chairs until the whole stack toppled. At the deepest level, their work points to the importance of men and women healing traditional schisms and finding collaborative higher ground.
