In this segment Loyd discusses the direction of paranormal research. He encourages the use of more technology and environmental scientists to provide a good set of data to compare to experiences people describe. He also talks about the value of researching paranormal phenomenon. If place memory information could be stimulated in people, historians, archeologists and even the entertainment industry, could benefit greatly. In apparitional research the possibility and potential proof that some kind of consciousness survives physical death could be profound. And with poltergeist phenomenon he speculates that if we can prove that our unconscious minds can move objects, we open the door to opportunities that may be limitless.

Loyd Auerbach is Director of the Office of Paranormal Investigations and author of many books. He has been an Adjunct Professor at JFK University since 1983, and also served on the faculty of the Rosebridge Graduate School for Integrative Psychology in Concord, CA. For more than 25 years, he has been investigating cases of reported paranormal phenomena, Parapsychology. He has been a consultant to various television producers and writers in the United States, Japan, and Great Britain, providing both scientific and creative input, including projects for the History Channel, the Travel Channel, TechTV, the Discovery Channel, A&E and the Learning Channel.
