The following six weekly video segments with Van Jones were shot as part of the Conversations at the Edge lecture series, co-sponsored by Metanexus and the Institute of Noetic Sciences in San Francisco, California on December 2, 2005.

In this video series Van Jones examines the definition of good and evil in our society and the social justice climate we currently tolerate. He brings awareness and insight to the unequal treatment of drug offenders and the misperceptions of what makes a person or a society good or evil.

Thank you Van Jones for your clarity and insight. I appreciate the open and frank exploration of the difference in treatment of people who commit the same crimes. When we Americans get around to challenging our fearful beliefs about race and class, there will still be plenty more opportunities to demonstrate our goodness.
