Science validates that the heart is more than just a pump. It is a powerful healing communicator to the higher centers of the brain. In each body, there is a neurological conversation happening constantly between brain and mind. The heart also is an electrical monitor for the brain, conducting neurobiological signals, and it is a biochemical producer of hormones to the brain. It is also an electrical organ which conducts bioelectricity throughout the body to produce electromagnetic energy which not only serves to bind the energy of the body's cells but filters and radiates it beyond the body.

Howard Martin, Executive Vice President for Strategic Development at HeartMath, LLC and one of the original leaders who helped Doc Childre found HeartMath, will be coming to Seattle on June 20-21 for a weekend workshop on the The Power of the Energetic Heart.

This is a great opportunity for our Greater Seattle IONS Community Group to introduce the science and practice of HeartMath experientially. Come join us on Monday, May 12 (7:00-9:15 pm) at East Shore Unitarian for a preview of the June 20-21 workshop with Howard Martin.
