


Current economic and social trends require a new kind of leader who is more aware, can see situations from multiple perspectives, fosters a culture of trust and collaboration, and employs social intelligence within a pragmatic approach. The leader’s ability to collaborate in project and learning networks while engaging the needs and interests of stakeholders in creating a mutual chain of value and commitment is central. This course will include reflective practices for cultivating awareness and experiential learning exercises and case studies to develop conscious and collaborative leadership capabilities.
James Armstrong is a faculty member in the business and psychology programs at Meridian University. Jim’s career has straddled the professions of both psychology and business. He is a management consultant with an interest in Executive Coaching, Organizational Development, and Strategy Development.
