Meeting time: The group will meet the 2nd Sunday of every month from 1-4pm at the Soul River Studios in Big Sur, California (next to the River Inn Restaurant on Highway 1) starting Sunday, July 13, 2008.
Focus of the group: The focus will be developed by the group in the hope that each meeting will be facilitated by one of the members with the coordinator remaining the host of the group, but stepping out of the way for the group to become a collective IONS presence in the Community. Some suggested presentations might be: Yoga, Wisdom Circles, Environmental subjects/study, IONS Shift Magazine article discussion, Book and/or DVD reviews, various movement practices, astrology, art & healing, media and consciousness, health and healing, science and spirituality, etc. Community Action Projects will be encouraged in conjunction with the Big Sur Health Clinic, Big Sur Library, Hospice and Volunteer Fire Department. In short the group will provide a forum and foundation for a community gathering each month with people of like-minds who want to get together in circle and have conversations that matter for themselves, the community, the world and our universe.
