Description: IONS Northwest is a regional hub for The Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS). We are an autonomous non profit organization which serves IONS members and the general public through hosting local and regional events, supporting IONS Community Group Coordinators in the Northwest and globally, building bridges with other NW communities, and acting as liaison with IONS and all its programs.

We believe in the potential of collective consciousness for positive planetary change. Our purpose is to be an integral catalyst for the global mission of IONS: exploring the frontiers of consciousness to advance personal, social, and global transformation. Our mission is to build, support, and connect conscious communities locally, regionally and globally toward a global shift in consciousness.

IONS Northwest contributes to a global shift of consciousness by embodying integral values, fostering emergent wisdom, honoring collective intelligence, and cultivating integral education. Leaders support bioregional sustainability in Greater Seattle and the Northwest through the cultivation of noetic* sciences and integral ideals.

Noetic sciences are explorations into the nature and potentials of consciousness using multiple ways of knowing-including intuition, feeling, reason, and the senses. Noetic sciences explore the "inner cosmos" of the mind (consciousness, soul, spirit) and how it relates to the "outer cosmos" of the physical world.

Description: The Mt. Olympus IONS group gives like-minded people a space close to their homes a chance to explore who and what they really are. Topics are chosen from the group as it forms, including mind/body connection and the subtle essence of spirit. We create a safe have for dialogue, a chance to share fellowship and explore topics together. We often have guest speakers and experiential workshops.
