Unprecented times are pushing us forward to embrace a new paradigm for humanity: a new consciousness of peace emerging as a science of change which hasconcrete benefits and hugely practical and measurable outcomes. Governing systems conditioned by fear, threat, and the relentless pursuit of competitive advantage are collapsing into new forms of cooperation, new methods for change, new ways to transcend prevailing worldviews of self and other oppression.

Science has a great role to play in helping us to make rational choices based on the best evidence gathered across disciplines, from biology to ecology. For the first time in history, we can demonstrate how we are being moved from fragmentation to wholeness by an emerging collective will that questions the notion that war, aggression, and survival of the fittest is an inescapable reality. To understand the Science of Peace one must also understand the science of stress, manipulation and oppression.

The breakdown and irrationality of collapsing worldviews may capture our attention but we must also look at the evidence of a whole new mindset and worldview that is rising out of the ashes of crashing worlds : at the interface of science and spirituality comes a new center of evolutionary purpose and creativity. In almost every sphere of human activity a higher more integrated consciousness is beginning to show us the way to fundamentally transform dysfunctional paradigms.

Transformation is an irreversible change of state and not simply a linear change. We have begun to study both personal and collective transformation and the findings are deeply affirming of the relevance of spiritual practice and the underlying unity of the great wisdom traditions.

Both the science of peace and of transformation herald deeply practical insights and models that will guide us though a time of unprecedented breakdown into a new center of prodigious human creativity and planetary civilization.
