Join Beth Lisick, in dialogue with host Cassandra Vieten for a live discussion in our Living Deeply Series at 11:00 am Pacific Time.

In her recent book Helping Me Help Myself: One Skeptic, Ten Self-Help Gurus, and a Year on the Brink of the Comfort Zone, Beth Lisick good-naturedly skewers ten of the top self-help programs and their gurus, simultaneously capturing the passion, charisma, and sweetness of many of them. In this Living Deeply channel interview, we lighten things up a bit as we hear about Beth's experiences on a Richard Simmons health cruise, explore why "men are from mars," and learn those good old habits of highly effective people. Come prepared for some well-deserved laughter and irreverence about this journey toward wholeness and health we are all on, and the lengths we go to get there.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions of the guests and then participate in a community discussion.

The new Living Deeply series is presented by the authors of the "Living Deeply" book, Marilyn Schlitz PhD, Cassandra Vieten, PhD and Tina Amorok, PsyD, and IONS staff. The discussions with the guests will focus on their process and experience of living a purposeful, directed and transformative life.
