Teachers, masters and scholars of transformative traditions tell us that connecting with a like-minded community is one of the most helpful ways to integrate long term shifts in ways of being. There we can share the transformational journey, provide support, and explore deep questions that matter. Across the world community groups of the Institute of Noetic Sciences are a testament to that idea.
Last fall, a dozen or so Chicago area individuals took that advice to another level by forming a book study group to consider the wisdom of the Tao Te Ching. Their study focused on the work of Byron Katie in A Thousand Names for Joy, and Wayne Dyer in Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life.
The group will facilitate our July program, and share their study and practice with us. Please join us on Sunday, July 20 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at Unity in Chicago. As always, be ready for rich conversation with fellow explorers. We will begin with an opening meditation. Light refreshments will be served. Thanks to July meeting team members: the Tao Te Ching Study Group, Gayle Kryzak and Madeline Gelis. Recommended donation is $10 at the door.
