Paul Von Ward

IONS Homosassa Coordinator Patricia Kittleman Welcomes Paul Von Ward

"If a mechanism for reincarnation exists in the universe, it should be testable through the tools of modern science." asserts cosmologist Paul Von Ward, author of The Soul Genome: Science and Reincarnation and other books.

After years of research on various types of reincarnation cases, Paul has found that without recourse to psychic readings, hypnotic regression, or spirit guidance, a plausible scientific case can be made for reincarnation. Thousands of proposed past-life connections can be more logically explained by a soul genome (psychoplasm) that carries forward holistic personality from one life to another than by any other theory.

Research by Paul and several others suggests that our physical features and the ways we think, react emotionally to life events, interact with others, and focus our creativity may all be shaped by past-life experiences. Even if we do not know who these past lives were, their imprints show up in this lifetime. His case studies (famous people and not) illustrate how reincarnation works in the real world. Paul's presentation provides natural explanations for karma and other Eastern and Western concepts of reincarnation. He explores its implications for one's daily decisions and actions, introducing a wider awareness of the scope of free will.

The Reincarnation Experiment website provides an overview of the ongoing project on which the book and the presentation are based. Participants get a head start by checking it out.

Paul Von Ward, MSc & MPA
As an interdisciplinary cosmologist, Paul combines the physical and natural sciences, psychology, and cultural history. He researches and describes the emerging new story of the universe and its Homo sapiens. In the role of "cosmic puzzle master" he seeks to fill the blanks in our universe's crossword puzzle.

An independent scholar for almost two decades, Paul received degrees from Harvard University (MPA in 1974) and Florida State University (MSc in 1962), from which he also received his BA (Phi Beta Kappa) in 1961. From 1962 to 1965, he served in the U.S. Navy as a line officer. As a State Department Foreign Service Officer from 1965 until 1980, he served in diplomatic posts in France, Martinique, Sierra Leone, and the Dominican Republic, as well as in policy and management positions in Washington, DC. Paul founded the Washington-based nonprofit Delphi International (CEO from1980-1995) to provide cross-cultural exchanges and professional training. He is a member of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, Mensa, Association for Humanistic Psychology, American Federation of Scientists, MUFON, and other organizations.

Paul has traveled professionally to one hundred countries for the State Department and Delphi. His foreign languages are Spanish and French. He trained in clinical psychology and started his career as a Protestant minister. He then devoted thirty years to public service as naval officer, diplomat, and nonprofit leader. He has published four major books:

The Soul Genome: Science and Reincarnation (2008); Gods, Genes and Consciousness: Nonhuman Intervention in Human History (2004); Our Solarian Legacy: Multidimensional Humans in a Self-Learning Universe (2001); and Dismantling the Pyramid: Government by the People (1981).
