Our deepest relationships — with parents, husbands and wives, children and others — can provide profound support in our lives. However, hidden dynamics within these relationships often produce obstacles that keep us from being able to feel the positive effects of that support. Systemic Constellation Work is a powerful tool for bringing these hidden dynamics to light and removing the obstacles, leading to a greater flow of love, strength and support through all our relations.

Starhawk

Join Starhawk, in dialogue with host Stephen Dinan.

What is spirituality for? A spiritual practice and community can bring comfort and healing, and be a refuge from a harsh world. But if it remains only that, it loses depth and integrity. Engaged spirituality is about challenge as well as comfort, confrontation as well as healing. Creative, transformative powers are most needed in places of deep conflict, oppression and violence. Starhawk tells tales of magical activism, from actions in the peace and global justice movements, and from her work with the International Solidarity Movement, which does nonviolent intervention in occupied Palestine.

Research has shown that hearing is the first to arrive and the last to go before we take our last breath. This suggests a primacy to listening, serving as a bridge to our essential nature, our presence. The spoken word, when coming from presence, can express our innate wisdom, deeply nourishing to the human spirit.  By combining the emotional language of music (which is processed largely by the reptilian brain) with the spoken word (processed largely by the cerebral cortex), an alchemy of mind and heart occur, offering healing states of consciousness that can help cultivate greater emotional and spiritual intelligence.

Joellyn and Richard St. Pierre
In this introductory workshop presented by Rev. Joellyn St. Pierre, D. Div. and Richard St. Pierre, LCSW, we will be exploring a profound path of service called The Art of Death Midwifery. What is death midwifery? It is a spiritual calling at once quite new and very ancient. Some are called to serve family and loved ones. Some are called to serve themselves. For others it becomes a life path. To be in the presence of one transitioning from this life into the next is an immense honor and a sacred responsibility. This workshop is appropriate for anyone wishing to experience death, their own or others, with more consciousness.

Ecstatic movement, pure and free, shaking to the rhythmic drums of Kalahari Bushman has been among the first spiritual healing and transformative practices and has remained a core practice in many cross cultural healing traditions to this day. Shaking medicine allows the spirit to enter us and unveil its sacred and wild transformative power – moving us from the inside out. Now the elders of shaking medicine want the world to know about the world’s first medicine. Whereas meditation & deep relaxation rests the mind and body, shaking medicine wakes up the spirit, tunes the whole being, and brings forth the original mysteries. When we are spiritually tuned we are good to one another. Now is the time for shaking medicine!

Although we hope for a linear method of writing about our lives, as Goldberg reminds us, life does not plod along on an obvious path – so we must approach writing sideways.

All cultures, have stories about how a dying person progresses through different psychospiritual stages. Reflecting on how to die physically serves as a guide for how to die symbolically. Occasionally in life, one comes to a place where something is “dying”: a troubled relationship, a dead-end job, a waning interest, a way of being in the world that no longer serves you. In order for a new life-affirming story to emerge, first you must do the hard work of letting the old story “die.”

In the wake of the most momentous American election of our lifetimes, one thing is certain - the fate of this nation and our world lies squarely in the hands of "we the people." What will it take to awaken and inspire a new generation of leadership by and for the people?

What does it mean to be human in the twenty-first century when the fate of the Earth community lies in the balance? How might we engage fully with the emerging challenges and opportunities of our moment in history? The Year-Long Soulcraft Immersion is an advanced program for people already immersed in their self-discovery process and who are either in a leadership position or are longing to support radical change in our world through the cultivation and offering of their most vital, visionary essence. This group meets four times during the year (once each season) for five days each, in four spectacular and wild eco-systems in the American West. This year-long highly experiential program allows our personal relationships, our group field, our intimacy with the wild Earth, and our facility with soulcrafting to develop and deepen through extended contact and practice. The primary goal is to enable and support each participant¹s fullest contribution to the Earth community at this time of planetary transformation. During the year, we employ the full range of soulcraft practices, selecting them according to the developing needs of the individuals and the group as well as the challenges and seductions of the wild. Participants work on group and individualized assignments between sessions. An application is required. Optional individual mentoring sessions are available between group meetings.

Unconscious energies regularly arise into our awareness and shape our actions in waking life. Three of the most intense expressions of these unconscious archetypal sources are love, violence and creativity. These three modes of conscious expression shape our actions today, just as they have since the dawn of humanity. Exploring our night-time dreams makes it possible to understand the influence of this unconscious material and see how it works as we try to live a life of meaning, with awareness of what "drives" us to love, create and to destroy.
