I am really loving the work that Dean Radin has done and is doing. Finally some real science to back up "feelings" that I have been having for years.

With my personal experience's in life, I would like to see research done on the relationships of psy experiences and Bipolar Disorder / Schizophrenia disorder. For years, I have been feeling other peoples emotions, seeing and feelings events before they happen, premotions in dreams as well as feeling / seeing other people situations in dreams as well as feeling emotions of friends that live miles away (me in Bristol UK and him in San Francisco US).

However, when experiencing emotions like feeling the death of a boyfriend before it happens....well you are judged being a psycho crazy person or feeling you are loosing your marbles well until the event actually happens (which it did)

When gettin help on my crazy emotions, well I told a psychaitrist that I indeed talk and listen to trees (the druid in me) I was labeled a schizophrenia and was put on heavy duty meds. Then at some point, I was labeled Bipolar Manic disorder type 2 and put on a shit load of heavy duty drugs. All the drugs in the world did not help with my crazy feelings and it only made them worst.

I would really like to see this information get into the mainstream of psychology and psychaitry as I am a firm believer that many people that are label Bipolar and Schizophrenia are not as sick as the medical community think there are. Too many people are given meds that they don't need and are screwing up their brain because of a misdiagnosis.

Again, thank you very much for your research. I just hope it gets out there in the mental health community.

First, I want to express that I feel for your conflict and heartfelt search. I was waiting for someone to bring this up...and out. I could write a book, and in fact, I will be, on the subject of misdiagnoses and the meds mania. My adult daughter died after many years of tortuous days with Pituitary tumors, after having been diagnosed by 2 county mental health systems and fed most of the latest psychotropic meds (plus others for her physical side effects) 3 years before I knew. She was labeled "gifted" with an IQ of over 160 in late elementary school. I raised her with organic foods and the Montessori philosophy. Monica died almost 4 years ago with no life.

My daughter would say things to me that made me think she had developed more than her intuition. Since I have had deep experiences and have a well developed intuitive capacity, I could understand her. But the family and the culture did not.

I've immersed myself in the study of the brain and am searching for works on other modalities. One good resource is a book by a military/mental health social worker, not a psychiatrist. He had 4 generations with Bipolar diagnosis. The book is found online: Nutrients, Quiet the Unquiet Brain by David Moyer LCSW. He has done a tremendous amount of research into virus/bacteria (I'd read of depression in horses in Germany inked to viruses in the brain) such as Lyme's disease, stealth viruses, Cytokines related to the Immune system and a much more.

This author stays pretty much in the "mainstream," where I believe energetics and quantum dynamics are at work. One suggestion he makes is to return diseases of the brain back to the physical realm. I agree we are dealing with a major SHIFT in the whole field of sanity and harmony.

I've been immersed in a NatureConnect program the past year. I believe you can talk to trees -- and rocks -- without having rocks in your head. It's been said that the problem comes when you hear them talk back. Well, even there, I believe they DO! I wish I could hug you but I will go hug a tree and thank God/dess for all of the aware IONS folks.

Look, I don't know a lot about this, but I have a sister who's been tormented for years with the dx of bipolar type 1 and schizo affective disorder. She claims of late that the dx is incorrect and has taken herself off the heavy, mind-numbing psychotropic meds they have had her on. She claims to have psychic abilities and experiences, and will often relate such. I never know what to think and usually chalk it off as the illness talking. Unfortunately, she has self medicated with alcohol and crack cocaine which has really sent her off the deep end, resulting in the loss of her home, job and children. I have attempted to do a little bit of research into her supposed diagnosis, presenting it to her (nutrition, supplements, alternative thought and medicine), but she has resisted.

The whole field of mental illness is a vast and murky quagmire with patients often ending up dead or in prison or on the streets due to ignorance, lack of funds, etc. Families are torn up and at a loss as to how to cope. I pray for the day, hopefully sooner than later, that we will find better answers, whether this be brilliance or madness or some kind of virus/bacteria. Though according to the DSM, we are all a little mentally off at least to some degree, even for hugging trees.

What's On My Mind

Entangled Minds

How soon will the paranormal be normal? IONS Senior Scientist Dean Radin exposes a restlessness brewing in science and society as the theory of quantum entanglement points to minds connected across space and time.
