Yoga for World Peace
Yoga is much more than the physical discipline generally called hatha yoga. Yoga is about meditation and personal self-transformation. It culminates in the experience of samadhi wherein one transcends one's separate ego-consciousness and discovers oneself as an integral aspect of universal consciousness. Through yoga meditation we connect with the larger being that contains us all. With this connection how could we continue to practice war and hatred, or any form of exclusion? We are all of the family of God. Yoga helps us to awaken to this reality.
