IONS Founder's and above Circle members and some of their families traveled with Edgar Mitchell, Marilyn Mandala Schlitz and Kathleen Erickson-Freeman for a VIP tour of NASA , the Kennedy Space Center and a viewing of the launch of Shuttle Discovery earlier in December.

This momentous trip is an honor for IONS major donors to connect them to the history and creation of IONS and to learn more about how IONS research and educational programs have advanced in building a bridge between science and spirit, inner and outer explorations towards global peace and planetary unity as envisioned by Edgar during his return trip from the moon in 1971. As one of only twelve moonwalkers, Edgar and our IONS group were provided with an insider's view of the Kennedy Space Center and watched the launch from the nearest site possible.

Reflections shared by Circle member Bonny Meyer captures in a few words the essence of our trip.
