What is Your Energy Medicine? What Delights Do You Radiate? (Available World Wide)

The next Chrysalis Wisdom Council will be on Saturday, January 6, at 10:00 AM PST. The Webcam system I'm using will allow all participants from around the world to see and hear each other as if we were meeting in my living room in person. Last month, we had participants from California, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Turkey. There is a limit of eight people in this group, so register early.

These sessions use the Chrysalis Wisdom Council format for dialog—a discussion methodology that makes powerful use of inner silence to promote sharing that can border on the telepathic, thoughtful and sensitive listening, and when we’re lucky, an energy shift that is like reframing at the most insightful place in your heart.

In this month’s session, we’ll explore the medicine that we each bring to the world from our most authentic selves. We can begin to find this medicine by examining who it is that we are when we are inwardly silent—as we are in the Wisdom Council.<!--break-->

When you enter into deep inner silence, what part of yourself do you express? What energy do you personally and uniquely radiate that is different than what you radiate in normal interactions with others? Another way of asking this is “What is your deepest wisdom that you can offer to others?”

We will share our responses to this question about ourselves, but we will also share what we sense about each other when we focus on one another from the silence. Each of us will practice tuning in and acknowledging one another for what each of us senses about each other and what we radiate.

Finally, we will discuss what life would be like if we lived in a way that allows this quieter, wiser part of ourselves to be fully expressed much more of the time. What if you were able to stay in that altered state throughout your daily activities? How would it be different? What would happen differently?

The Chrysalis Wisdom Council

We will explore these questions using the Chrysalis Wisdom Council, a powerful process for creating an energy shift that can change your behavior. The Wisdom Council is a practical application of short-term inner silence to create an authentic dialog that leads to deep relational knowing, clarity, and wisdom. The results are replicable and reliable.

Each time any one of us tunes in to a deeper place and shares from that place, we are actually entering an altered state of consciousness—even if you only go a little bit deeper than normal consciousness. What makes this altered state of consciousness significant is that you enter into it while talking and listening to other people.

This is important because it is in communication and interaction that we generate all of the drama in our lives, and that drama is what normally causes us most of our stress and distress. If you practice going into this altered state while interacting with others, you’ll not only go deeper and deeper each time, but you’ll also learn to take that altered state into more and more parts of your daily life.

I originally invented the Chrysalis Wisdom Council in the late 90s, and since then, I have taught it to hundreds of people and several organizations. This has caused the method to evolve: for instance, one of the key steps in the process was given to me by the Nine Gates Mystery School.

The Donation Meditation

At the end of every session that I do, I ask participants to take part in the 180-second donation meditation, which I consider a training method in its own right. I ask participants to tune in to their higher selves and to ask the following questions:

1. What’s the most important lesson that I learned from this session?
2. How can I most effectively apply that lesson to my specific needs?
3. Is it highest wisdom to donate to IONS at this time?
4. What dollar amount should I donate?

In my opinion, tuning in to your higher self, listening to its advice, and following through with your commitments to it constitute a process that is unfamiliar to many people. I therefore consider this final three-minute meditation to be an important part of any session that I teach. I have been donating to IONS after every session myself, because I believe that I need this meditation as much as anyone.
