News from the IONS Community Group Network
I am a member of IONS Elder Council and Network Councils with a passion and a purpose. Lately, I have been coordinating an online community for IONS Community Group Coordinators to exchange information with each other and post news for IONS Community Group Coordinators. This is an optional virtual community for the 220 IONS Community Groups. Currently there are 84 of us now sharing about our IONS groups. There are also sub groups such as how to bring Integral Health into IONS Community Groups.
Currently the IONS Community Group Network is getting ready for an amazing time at the IONS the upcoming 2007 IONS Conference: Conscious in Action: The Science and Practice of Transfromation, May 8-12, 2007. The IONS staff has given the IONS Community Group Network a a FREE all day Pre-Conference Workshop for IONS Community Group Coordinators (Aug 8, arrive by the evening of Aug. 7 -no fee) and those interested in forming IONS Community Groups. We will follow up with a breakfast for IONS Community Group Coordinators during the the Conference, also graciously provided by the IONS staff who will join with us there.
In addition, I have have recently created a link to a recently archived Conference call with IONS Pres. James O'Dea, Stephen Dinan and the IONS Community Group Coordinators describing activities at the upcoming 2007 IONS Conference: Conscious in Action: The Science and Practice of Transfromation and how those relate to new developments at IONS. We also discussed the August 8 IONS Community Group Coordinator day. This is a great audio for IONS Community Group Coordinators. And we will likely schedule another similar conference call in the next few weeks.
