Henry David Thoreau has often been quoted as saying ..."I think not so much the farmer owns the cows as the cows own the farmer."

If we just substitute the word "Beliefs" for "Cows" I think we begin to see what is really going on regarding this topic ... "Who Am I?"

Since everything is energy ... and energy is intelligent (because it both manifests and responds to the energy of intelligent observation) ... and beliefs are among the smartest, deceptive, and intelligent systems in the universe ...

Now:
#1) Guess who is on top of the food chain ...

#2) Guess who is the Royal Master ... and who is the Servant Slave ...

#3) Guess what is the Royal Master Belief Systems best line of defense and self preservation ... "to convince man who he is ... thus manipulating man's thoughts and defense mechanisms to protect the very beliefs ... to whom he thinks he is/"

Now that is an extremely brilliant use of the marshall arts if there ever was one, i.e.d using the opponents force to self defend. :-)

Congratulation's on not knowing who you are ... you are now free just to experience the effects of being able to project multiple identities ... a sign of brilliance and genius.

What's On My Mind

How I define myself and my beliefs

John K Arnold | 02.23.07 | 08:43 AM

Last night I watched as Oprah had interviews between stars such as George Clooney and Julia Roberts, Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman and Jamie Fox and Sydney Poitier. I was particularly touched by the interactions and conversation with Jamie Fox, Sydney Poitier and Oprah. There were many instances of changes that Sydney Poitier played a part in, but one particularly touched me. It was pointed out by Oprah. Sydney Poitier is speaking to his father in the movie. he says" You are my father, I love you and I will always love you, but you see yourself as a colored man and I see myself as a man." I believe that our experience is based on our beliefs and how we define ourselves. This emphasizes that. If I define myself as a 55 year old white male or however I define myself than I am subject to those beliefs, whether limiting or liberating. I am not sure as yet how to define myself, one thought is I am a multidimensional being who was never born and will never die. That really changes my views. How do you see yourself? I believe the quality of the answer depends on the quality of the question. To get an extraordinary answer requires asking an extraordinary question or questions. I believe it also takes gratefully welcoming the unfamiliar.
