While practicing Ho ‘O Pono Pono, some interesting awareness came forth. At Christmas, I purchased my husband Biff some new sexy briefs…he told me that he may not like them. Later, Biff wore them and told me he’s very impressed with how comfortable they felt. Then above my head I heard, “I am glad I can do something right!”

Jolted by the message ....it was definitely my mom’s presence. She would always say that when we were growing up. Um, I wondered if I unconsciously say that same statement. So I asked Biff. “Do I say, ‘I am glad I can do something right.”’ He shook his head no. I felt like this part of my mom melted off of me.

Then I had another nudge, one that I hadn’t felt for a long time. My female organs were aroused. Okay, thinking to myself, this is really out of the ordinary. I lost my sexual desire years ago trying to conceive Preston.

Excited, I ran into the bedroom and jumped on Biff. He had not seen me like this for a very long time. While making love, I heard in my head, the Who’s old song, “Momma’s got a squeeze box and Daddy doesn’t sleep at night.” It ran in my head like a broken record, “in and out, in and out”. I told Biff and we laughed. I wonder why this thought came up. Perhaps it’s another thought stuck in my mind that imprinted my sexual desires as young girl. The song’s demeaning energy definitely takes away the natural instinct of love making by assuming women have squeeze boxes.

Finally, the record stopped and we continued making passionate love. The ecstasy was amazing, while we soaked in the beauty of our spirits without that impression.

Ho O’ pono pono will continue to be my daily ritual, I found it be Orgasmic!

Dear Holly,

I just found out the song was about an accordion. But I misinterpreted. I unconsciously lugged it around and it wasn't even the truth. I have received a number of replies through my email and it seems a lot of ladies misinterpreted too. It must be a collective conscious. Hopefully a healing with take place.

Thank you for your feed back.

Surely y'all know what a double entendre is?

I'm about 99% sure that the song was and is about a musical instrument and sexual sharing.

That's not demeaning! That is good old rock and roll. Joy of life, and all that. Ya know?

Smiling ~ Ken
