Many people, who aren't valued in the ways the world often values people, have dreams that ache to come true. In this segment, Wayne Muller describes people with big dreams and very little money, dreams to make their small corner of the world a better place. The Empty Bowls project, on a grant of only $1,000, raised $14,000 in their first year and the proceeds helped fund the Kitchen Angels project. After receiving a $3,000 grant, a woman living on welfare, created a Battered Women's Shelter which has grown successfully over the past 15 years and now helps 750 women each year.
