After I wrote my blog on The Mind Virus, http://www.shiftinaction.com/node/6589 Bob Johnston, kindly replied with a suggestion to pay attention to my dreams because it helps with the subconscious mind.

That same evening I dreamt about duality. My dream portrayed a brisk morning, with a blanket of fresh sparkling snow. The fresh blue sky was illuminated by a stunning sunrise. Driving to a friend’s house, the breathtaking beauty that God created was unexpectedly interrupted with black sludge gushing down the gutters of the street. Staying present and observing the unpredictable power of this unwavering creature, produced awareness within me. Unfortunately, I found myself stuck at a dead end. Stunned, breathing deeply and grounding intensely in pure consciousness, I embraced the mystery of this dark entity. It crept around me, trying to feed off me as if I was its only means for survival.

With crystal clear and extremely intent observation a change started to happen. The murky discharge altered it’s form. The sludge separated and grew into something similar to cock roaches with wings. Flying around as if their insanity had captured them in a cage, hundreds of these bugs filled the air. Sensing intimate danger, an eerie unsettledness washed over me. Staying focused and grounded with clear intention I noticed their power had diminished because they were no longer one connected organism.

Remaining calm and present as I parked my car, yet still noticing their glare with crimson pulsating eyes. They stared at me and I kindly held a space of compassion for them as I allowed God’s light to shine through me. Still breathing, I made into my friend’s house. Rosemary gave me herbs to dissolve any ruminants of the sludge that I may have digested. Rosemary explained my courageous presence forbid the creatures from invading me because the light was too bright. Rosemary and her daughter were getting dressed as if they were from the movie Ghost Busters. They were working on dissolving the misguided forms because people became sick since they gave their power away to this force by reacting in fear.

Waking up in a peaceful serene state…laughing because Rosemary had just invited me to her dream workshop a few weeks ago. I haven’t attended her workshop yet, so if there are any dream analyzers out there I would love your feedback. Thank you for allowing me to share my subconscious mind.

Much Love Laurie and Preston from Heaven:) XOXOXO

Sorry I am so slow in responding to your blog. Mill and I had been away from home yesterday only to find when we returned that a small tornado-like storm had ripped through our neighborhood, knocking down multiple trees and electric power lines. We were without electricity for about eighteen hours and are most appreciative of having it back.

You had a most interesting dream, apparently very transformative. I'm answering your call for "dream analyzers" but please be aware I analyze only my own dreams because I don't feel qualified to analyze those of others for the reason that I cannot possibly know their soul development mission, state of mind-body health and well being, DNA, belief system, life experiences including challenges, and other related personal variables.

Having given you my disclaimer with implied caveat, what I can ethically do is share how I would work with the dream were it mine.

As you may remember from some of my other posts, I have a five-step meditative affirmation which I use as a basis for cocreatively self-managing my life, which includes the way I work with my dreams. My 'general working premise' underlying the five steps is:

Every dream is an important message from our timeless, mysterious, omnipresent, caring Source about one's life. I view each event in my life, including dreams, from my inner ‘place’ of transparent timeless consciousness which I identify as the true, genuine, transtemporal me in complete oneness with our transtemporal, omnipresent, caring mysterious Source . . . where every possible perception of every event is an option; in which every possible interpretation of every perception is an option; in which every possible response to every possible interpretation is an option with a wide range of possible consequences for integral health or for ill -- individually, socially, and ecosystemically.

Based on that general premise the following affirmational meditation process is useful for clearing my soul, during the day or at night while dreaming, of unhealthful, unwanted, involuntarily learned beliefs, values, biases, prejudices, and behaviors blocking my health, free thinking, creativity, effectiveness, and respect for the inherent worth and dignity of all others in the the temporal chain of life, whether we perceive them as noble or ignoble, beautiful or ugly, desirable or repulsive, etc.:

1) I am a conscious center of our infinite ageless Source (feminine and masculine) who is the origin of and permeates all life forms from atomic particles and molecules, all the way through animal life (human, etc.), societies of all kinds, our ecosystem, and beyond;

2) I am not any temporal feeling, thought, behavior, identity or possession at any time, whether during the day or during my dreams at night;

3) I transcend, own and include in my repertoire of choices all my temporal feelings, thoughts, identities, behaviors and possessions as conscious options for use for health or for ill in my mind-body relationships, in my interpersonal relationships, and relationships with entities in our ecosystem, whether encountered during the day or during my dreams at night;

4) I am committed to co-creatively managing the use of my options in a way mutually respectuful, empathetically, and healthful to my transtemporal mind-spirit self, my temporal physical body, other entities, our ecosystem and universe, whether encountered during the day or during my dreams at night.

5) I am open to feedback from my temporal body, my soul consultant OM, dreams, other entities and ecosystem on how well I am doing toward achieving my soul's mission for this incarnation. I make adjustments to my intentions and actions as wanted and necessary.

I have committed that process to memory and internalized it so that now it is an integrally healthful life cocreative self-managing process which comes naturallyfor me in all my experiences, including dreams.

So to bring all this back to how I would work with your dream if it were mine goes like this. In light of the process I outlined above, among the key questions I would ask myself and discuss with our Source are:

What message(s) in the dream felt healthful? Give example(s)

What message(s) in the dream felt unhealthful? Give example(s).

What do I want/need to do to transform the unhealthful message(s) into healthful one(s)?

What do I envision the desired change(s) will look and feel like when my desired healthful transformation(s) has/have taken place successfully?

What will I do to reinforce the successful healthful transformations?

Yours with empathy and trust in evidence-based integral natural science and our timeless, omnipresent, caring, healthful mysterious Source of all dreams and other life experiences,

Bob

Hi Bob,
Thanks for your detailed approach to evaluate dreams. I will definitely be using this tool for now on. I really respect your wisdom!

What a spectacular and marvelously vivid dream Laurie.

Thnk you so much for sharing it's encouraging message.

And it is, as I believe all dreams are, encouragement from what some have call, "that place in which the soul flies fearlessly."

Let me offer you my comforting interpretation, simply for your consideration:

In your dream you were having the ususal glorious day of being conscious of your relationship with God and His creations, as His creation. Right?

But something began to make it's way towards you, on the path that you were traveling.

The image you were given of it revealed it was not sent to add but subtract from you, as if it were an attack against, or distraction from the truth that lives in you.

But your resistance to it's threatening "appearance" caused it to shift in appearance and it altered from one false substance, into many, and as many diseased pests of falsehoods, they grew wings and entered the airways.

Still you resisted them all until they were weakened into chaotic flights of nonsense, by the sustained truth within you.

You then realized how powerless their threat of harm and danger really was, as you made your way inside the sanctuary of others (Rosemary and her daughter) who battle the same cacauphony of deadly falsehoods, which are daily traversing the globe by air.

Succinctly speaking, your dream was about the clever falsehoods of our unresovled traumas and/or our innocent mistakes.
Your soul is telling you that only the loving light of understanding, which lives within, is more powerful than their legions.

Of course, this is just my interpretation, based on the spirit of comfort with which I believe God has also comfort me by.
Thank you again for sharing your dream.

Namaste'

Dear Rev. Dr. Charles,

I love your interpretation of the dream. I believe you’re right on. Thank you for taking the time to help me out. I cannot tell you what that means to me.

Love Laurie and Preston from Heaven:)

Unencumbered
Laurie,
I've found the best way to interpret dreams is to divide one into the beginning, the middle and the end. Then I have to see what the elements and events mean to me...not what they mean to someone else.
Nevertheless:
Your cockroaches with wings remind me of ancient Egyptian Scarabs. Scarabs are based on dung beetles that eat or bury dung. The ancient Egyptians used scarabs as a sign of resurrection and renewal. How this might or might not fit in for you, I don't know. In movies, poor fellows who violate Egyptian Tombs are attacked by these beetles. The scarab amulet is protective, and it is made from various gemstones.

Much less exciting is the fact that there are flying cockroaches. Still, you have that sludge thing going on. Sludge is the settled out part of sewage...dung.

Rosemary is a real person. Also, rosemary is for rememberance.

Remember this dream. It is an important one that will reveal more meaning as time goes on....Your meaning.
B.

Dear B.

Thank you for your feed back. I had no idea about the Egyptian Scarabs. I love the symbolism you gave the dream. I will definately remember the dream...that's one reason why I decided to write a blog on it. I appreciate your time, support and knowledge.

Love Laurie and Preston from Heaven:)
