What are the important values that support/sustain/motivate you and me? We had an interesting teleseminar with Marilyn Schlitz yesterday as to what our beliefs and resulting actions are.
I would like to invite you to join in these Tuesday and Wednesday teleseminars as I think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread!
I joined the Shift in Action in 2006 and my first teleseminar was with Steve Ryals who wrote "Drunk With Wonder" which I thought to be a paradoxical title. I felt an unusual wave of energy join Steve and myself at a very specific time when Steve said he was feeling the heart energy which I questioned him about in my personal experience.
Marilyn talked about the role of IONS as a conscious growth process, however my experience is much more a heart awakening process. Somebody, somewhere said that the past has all been centered around our intellect, our brain, our head , our mind, etc and that the future is the path of the heart. I tend to agree with that, and love that the heartmath institute is so strong on this path. I love the Lakota term Cante Ista "seeing through the heart" and shakti pad from yoga meaning heart awakening.
So I put out that the values we state need to resonate strongly with the heart and that our actions be guided by our awakened heart, and that we need to see through the heart.

A friend of mine has been working on a documentary about progressive values that some of you might enjoy reading about:

Good morning, Filip ~

While SIA doesn't list me as a luminary you may be interested to know
I have some basic values which have stood me in very good stead over the years. They are inherent in "My Ten Commitments (alternative to the 10 commandments)" http://www.shiftinaction.com/node/1172.

I would be happy to discuss any you are curious about.

Have a wonderful day!

Bob

Thanks for inviting other SIA members to participate in the Tuesday and Wednesday live teleseminar calls! And thank you for being such an active and regular participant on those calls. The opporutunity to talk directly with our luminaries and the community discussion time to talk with other SIA members is a wonderful heart awakening process!

One of my favorite community discussion times was during the last lunar eclipse. We didn't really say too much to each other, but the heart connection we shared as we described our unique perspectives of the eclipse across the country and around Canada was really great.

Often times the discussions are really thought provoking and we have shared many resources with each other.

peace,
Angela
