Great seminar and inspiring.

However my vote for the best place is http://www.patchadams.org/
and it needs your support to make it real. I would love to see where you would go to recover your wellbeing. Please add your places.

I also recommend AHMA at http://www.holisticmedicine.org

I am curious what your thinking is about Michael Moore's Sicko movie?http://www.michaelmoore.com/sicko/index.html
He details distressing information in regards to the profit motive and how much and what care you receive.

I like the comment that Americans have a rugged individualism gene implanted as a GMO and that this needs to be cut out to achieve the "Take care of each other" maxim.

Also a guest on these seminars just a while back stated that there would be NO change to the status quo regarding a National Health Care Plan from any of the presidential candidates as they were preapproved by the AMA and all the extremely wealthy established medical industry interests. So Thank You very much for you interest BUT forget any National Plan for changes to American Health.

Any change needs to center around personal responsibility and factual information. Stories of success are just as valid as double blind scientific research. Please don't swallow these hook-line-sinker.

I would like to hear more about the social groups around aging as this has become my primary interest. Let's start an old folks' home on the IONS campus!

Hi and Woof, Woof! Interesting blog. You stated, "I would love to see where you would go to recover your wellbeing. Please add your places."

My healing "place" is first within my soul in a state of conscious oneness with our caring Source of all healing. functioning, and wellbeing.

Another place of healing for me is right here at home with my loving wife Mill, surrounded by rural beauty embraced by hills and about twenty acres of thick woods, the habitat of a wide variety of wild friends -- birds too numerous to mention, a red fox, possum, raccoons, rabbits, deer, squirrels, a bobcat, and, of course, skunks -- all that and five great colleges within a ten-mile radius.

Mill and I feel very fortunate to have such a wonderful natural healing environment within which to meditate together. One of our favorite healing meditations is Mystic Experience 101 http://www.shiftinaction.com/node/4065.

I would be remiss if I didn't also mention my paper titled Integral Healthful Aging: My Noetic-Based Checklist http://www.shiftinaction.com/node/3130 which describes my cocreative self-managed health regimen. It has resulted in literally no illness or other health problems, as confirmed by my physician, during the eleven and a half years I have been using it.

What are your feelings and thoughts about the healing approaches I have shared with you?

Yours with empathy, understanding, and trust in evidence-based integral natural science and our timeless, infinite, omnipresent, caring Source of all consciousness and healing.

Bob

Dear Bob,
In the short time that I have been a member of Shift in action I have downloaded probably 10 files of sage wisdom and advise that you and I can't forget Mill have graciously shared. I actually have started a file called "The Wisdom of Bob".

I am among the aging generation and I went through a rough patch that I am frankly surprised I survived...but I did and I can thank many, many wonderful people who took time to share wisdom with me. Much of the healing took place as a result of positive states of mind and a determination to learn the lessons life was trying to teach me. You and many others are teachers in deed through the way you are living your lives.
Thanks again.

Hi Russ, thank you for your kind words. Please remember, it's a two-way street. I am learning from you too. Warmly, Bob

I don't I want to converse with someone who continues to insult Americans...such as when you said "You Americans" on the Share page.
It doesn't surprise me that the comment about the rugged individualism gene implanted as a GMO that needs to be cut out would delight you. These will be my only and last words to you. You may have the last word...whatever that might be.
C'est Fini,
Barbara

I'm sorry but i can't see how I am insulting Americans in the posts you refer to. It is certainly not my wish or intent. It also wasn't my comment in the first place and I am not advocating violence. My last word is HELP!
