I am feeling the need to refresh myself, and found this in my notes:

RX for Inner Peace (Anonymous)
Inner peace is an incurable, highly contagious condition which if left unchecked, could pose a serious threat to the conflict in the world.

Here are some signs and symptoms of inner peace:

A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experiences.

An unmistakable ability to enjoy every minute.

A loss of interest in judging other people.
A loss of interpreting the actions of others.
A loss of ability to worry (this is a serious symptom)
Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation.
Contented feelings of connectedness with others.
Frequent attacks of smiling.
An increased tendency to allow things to happen rather than force them to change.
An increased susceptibility to the love extended by others, as well as the uncontrollable urge to extend it.

by the way, I love Greg Braden and would like to know who you could consider to be your Truth teachers? My list includes Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson, Joe Vitale, Paul Pearsall, and Deepak Chopra.

When I was first diagnosed with cancer of the tongue, the forces of Serendip gifted me with the book Peace. Love and Healing by Bernie Siegal. He taught me to enlist the support of the bodymind in accepting the procedures of allopathic medicine as curative rather than invasive.
Jon Kabat-Zinn taught me how to roam through the body and catalogue dis-ease, then how to assist the immune system in healing. Out of that grew the ability to help the immunne system regulate itself so that the 'overkill' that had been causing my arthritis was reversed.
Thich Nhat Hanh has taught me to be mindful of every action, and to use the mundane chores of everyday living as opportunities for meditation - as well as how to make forced periods of inactivity, like an eight hour plane ride, opportunities for further growth.
Frances Vaughn and Mona Lisa Schlitz, in their books (both titled 'Developing Intuition') have taught me how to bring the right brain into a dominant, and later coequal, position vis a vis the left brain.
There have been sooo many. I've learned something from every one of the several hundred books on spirituality in my library, and from every one of the articles read in such magazines as Shift, Science and Spirit, etc.

Peace and Love
Glenn

Thank you for responding. I am in awe of people like yourself who have taken the teachings and successfully applied them, especially in your area of health. It is true, there have been so many truly great teachers who have demonstrated life mastery, and I find it especially gratifying when the pieces begin to fit in my mind, like they were always there (which is true). Truth is encoded in us, we just forget it when we incarnate.

Shine On,
