I like diagrams and maps.
Mandalas are a type of mapping diagram.
Are there any other conceptual cartographers out there?
My intent here is to make a word mandala
of the book Living Deeply on a Cube framework.

In the context of the "living deeply" book and series, this is my humble attempt is to create a different kind of "table of contents" or heuristic kind of index . A 3d dimensional cubic matrix map with 26 keywords or phrases. The design is called a "GENESA" a general learning system. It this approach as a integral aid to investigate the whole as a simple relationship. Every essential key word is connector of the whole framework.
This is my poetic process of, modeling matrix of words and symbols to see what is revealed.
Currently I'm using several concept or mind mapping tools.
The Genesa
Personal Brain software
Visual Concept
The ebb tide beach sand....
environmental art is my main technique and expression. See the Sri Yantra in the sand.

Hi leucadianman,

Thank you for your interesting Share. I have similar interests however they lie more in the direction of four-dimensional maps of consciousness for integral leader-manager and organization transformation.

I have a SIA blog describing my core 4-D concept of the functions of the soul (psyche, self), however the attachment which portrays it graphically was unexplainably blocked somewhere in the system.

Meanwhile, if interested in viewing my graphic please write to me at omnimind@admin.umass.edu and I'll try to send pdf.

Yours with empathy, understanding, and integral health,

Bob

While words, like this, are good for details within ideas I already understand; I do use iMindMap for new things. It is really great in presenting branches that can be worked on individually: so as not to get confused with multiplicites of ideas; concepts; conflicting emotions. Adding pictures or mov's assists in comprehension for 'Most of the rest of us'.

To see the whole picture we just sit back and open up the whole map: hoping to be able to see how it might all work together. One branch can be opened one item at a time to test recall or to make a presentation. A graphic kind of Keynote or Power Point.

Now that iMindMap 3 is almost at release, I'll try bullying them for a collaborative version. They do have an Instructor - Student module. That could become group collaboration as soon as enough of us demand it.
